When shipping to the US or Internationally, Purolator E-Ship Online
gives you the ability to fill out the customs information yourself. You only have
to complete these fields if you are sending your shipment outside Canada. The information
you put in this section is needed for Customs clearance in the destination country.
If you are sending documents only, please select the Documents Only checkbox on
the Shipment Details page as you are not required to complete this page.
Depending on the product and the country involved, forms may be required to provide
additional information for the clearance or duty treatment of your shipment (e.g.,
Food & Drug Administration (FDA) and Federal Communications Commission (FCC)
into the USA, USMCA into the US or Mexico). If you have specific questions regarding
your shipment or any of the following fields, please call Purolator at 1 888 SHIP-123
or visit the
Purolator International Trade Assist Zone
.
Not completing the appropriate customs documentation may cause undue delay
in the International or US shipping process. Incomplete documentation may result
in a Purolator contracted Custom Broker contacting you directly and advising you
of our options. To help the uninitiated shipper in this process, please visit the Purolator International Trade Assist Zone.

- Permanent – Products intended to stay for use in the destination country on a permanent basis.
- Temporary – Goods are being shipped for temporary use and will be returned after a period of time (note: duties and taxes may still be assessed on the shipment)
